team unusual
What makes our team unusual?
We love what we do, we look for happy, motivated and positive people to be part of Unusual Projects. It’s good for the team and our customers and is demonstrated through the results we deliver. Our differences drive innovation, performance and a culture where everyone can be themselves. By offering flexible working patterns, we encourage people back to the workplace and try our best to provide a great work, life balance for all our team.
We understand that different perspectives strengthen our team and by combining our world views and experiences we become better problem solvers. All our team undertake regular training to ensure they are up to date on the skills and knowledge required for their role.
Working collaboratively with our clients is at the heart of our projects success, becoming one team to deliver experiences that enthrall visitors of all ages. We strongly believe that the very best interactives are immediately engaging, intuitive to use and the take away message has to be clear and simple - learning through play is one of the most effective ways to learn.
Unusual Projects strives to make science and engineering more accessible to a wider audience, not just through our exhibits but through our working practises. We actively support and promote Women in Engineering and engage in as many STEM campaigns as possible.
Our business is supported by a varied, flexible network of specialist suppliers and artisans. We focus on providing specialist services bespoke to every project we deliver. Supporting UK businesses and SMEs is very important to us and we maintain a responsible, transparent supply chain, only engaging suppliers who agree with our company ethos, and appointing suppliers local to our clients where possible to ensure we are enhancing social value through our project work in communities.
