We can support you with maintenance services

The flexible maintenance services we offer to our clients help support the safety checks of internal teams and are not limited to exhibits we have designed and built.

We have been working with the team at Historic Royal Palaces, The Tower of London site for three years to help them ensure their interactive and scenic exhibitions are well maintained, reliable and safe for all the millions of visitors who interact with them every year.

Our primary focus are the physical interactives from the ‘Armouries in Action’ exhibition within the White Tower. These interactive exhibits include swishing swords, longbows, a model of the tower and other display items. Our maintenance team visits regularly in support of the team at the Tower, to systematically check all the items are safe for the public to use, to identify any potential future issues and to repair any damage from misuse that has taken place.

“The team from Unusual Projects have been working with The Tower for the past three years and have provided a very good service. The engineers who attend site are excellent and always go out of their way to be helpful.” Chris Swash, Maintenance M&E Engineer, Historic Royal Palaces / Tower of London

The flexible maintenance services we offer to our clients help support the safety checks of internal teams and are not limited to exhibits we have designed and built. There is nothing worse than visiting an interactive exhibition to find the dreaded ‘out of order’ sign – we work with you to ensure your exhibits are looking great and working as well for your millionth visitor as they were for the first. Every maintenance visit is fully documented and followed up with a detailed report outlining all checks undertaken, any issues identified and our costed recommendations for repair so that our clients have a continuous recording system to demonstrate site compliance with regular safety maintenance checks. If you would like to speak to a member of our team about us helping you maintain the safety and functionality of your exhibits, please just drop us an email hello@unusualprojects.uk .
